<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure perfect safety by providing a laser protector having at least one laser protection wall which works without fail and is replaced after exposed to laser radiation. <P>SOLUTION: The laser protector with a safety breaker has a passive laser protection wall (1) which stores radiation energy of irradiation of laser (2) in a laser material processing equipment. In the laser protector, a laser protection foil (3) is installed forward in the direction of the laser irradiation, which causes a detectable change when exposed to laser irradiation. At least one sensor (4) is connected to the laser (2) via a threshold value switch (5), and the laser protector cuts off the switch of the laser (2), when a detected signal received either exceeds the threshold value or falls below the threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
