摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining apparatus capable of enhancing the printing quality without increasing the manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machining apparatus comprises: a laser beam oscillator 11 for generating laser beams L having a predetermined sectional shape; an incident lens 14a for refracting the laser beams L in a diffusive manner; a light-emitting lens 14b for refracting the laser beams L transmitted through the incident lens 14a in a convergent manner; scanning mirrors 16, 17 for reflecting the laser beams L transmitted through the light-emitting lens 14b; a condensing lens 18 for condensing the laser beams L reflected by these mirrors; a two-dimensional steering means for performing the two-dimensional scanning of the laser beams L by rotating each mirror; a focal distance control means for controlling the focal distance of the laser beams L by changing the distance between the incident lens 14a and the light-emitting lens 14b; and a beam diaphragm 15 which is arranged between the incident lens 14a and the scanning mirrors to reduce the beam diameter by blocking peripheral edge parts of the laser beams L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p>
