<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic unit and a method for assembling the electronic unit, which can have parts commonized between the waterproof one and the non-waterproof one. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic unit 1 is provided with a case 2, a printed circuit board 3, a connector block 4, and a connector conductor 5. As a case 2, a waterproof case 2a or a non-waterproof case 2b is used. The connector block 4 is mounted on the printed circuit board 3. A locking projection 22 to be engaged with a connector 20b of an opponent is installed in the connector block 4. The connector conductor 5 is incorporated with the cases 2a, 2b, and the other body than the connector block 4. The locking projection 26 is engaged with the connector 20a of the opponent in the connector conductor 5 of the waterproof case 2a.
