PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently collect heat for heating a heat medium from heat collecting portions without complicatedly laying heat collecting pipe to the plurality of heat collecting portions. SOLUTION: This solar energy collector comprises the heat collecting portions 1 collecting solar light, a heat collection opening 3 receiving heat collected by the heat collecting portions 1, a heat exchanger 6 collecting the heat from the heat collection opening 3 to the heat medium 9, a flat heat receiving plate 7 constituting the heat exchanger 6 and disposed at a heat collection opening 3 side, and a passage plate 8 overlapped to the heat receiving plate 7 with a clearance, and provided with projections and recesses forming a heat medium passage 10 on the heat exchanger 6. Thus the heat exchange can be uniformly performed to the heat medium 9 from the whole heat receiving plate 7 without complicatedly laying a tubular heat exchanger, and heat efficiency of the solar collector 19 can be improved by reducing a heat radiation area of the heat exchanger 6.
