PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting magnet device which reduces the location errors of a superconducting main coil and a superconducting shield coil and can generate an uniform magnetic field in an imaging area. SOLUTION: The superconducting magnet device includes: a first coil supporting member 9 which supports one 7a of a pair of the superconducting main coils and another 8a of a pair of the superconducting shield coils; a second coil supporting member 10 which supports another 7b of a pair of the superconducting main coil and another 8b of a pair of the supaerconducting shield coils, and which is apart from the first coil supporting member 9, a cooling container 4 which contains a pair of the superconducting main coils 7a, 7b, a pair of the superconducting shield coils 8a, 8b, the first coil supporting member 9, and the second coil supporting member 10 together with a cooling medium 5; and a vacuum container 3 containing the cooling container 4. Moreover, the superconducting magnet device includes an intermediate supporting member 11 which is contained in the cooling container 4, is contacted with the first coil supporting member 9 and the second coil supporting member 10, and constantly keeps the distance between the first coil supporting member 9 and second coil supporting member 10.
