PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood capable of improving contaminated air catching efficiency by preventing an influence by a cross wind from the next room such as a dining room by taking an effective cross-wind interference prevention measure, and further improving the contaminated air catching efficiency by effectively preventing the leakage of contaminated air rising to a hood to the outside of the hood by taking an effective leakage prevention measure. SOLUTION: An outward supply opening 9 for supplying a cross wind interference prevention flow M for preventing the interference of the cross wind W to the contaminated air G is formed at the opening edge 1-2 of a hood 1 facing a dining room D side, slanting downward toward the dining rood D side over an open counter B, and further an inward supply opening 10 for supplying an induction inhibiting flow N for pressing the contaminated air G induced by the cross wind interference prevention flow M to the inward direction of the hood 1 slanting downward is formed at the opening edge 1-2 of the hood 1 opened inside the outward supply opening 9.
