PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation or damage of connecting pipe by temporarily fixing the unfixed connecting pipe without breaking the ceiling opening part and its periphery when mounting or dismantling a sprinkler head to a head screw part of the connecting pipe. SOLUTION: A mounting tool is composed of a working tool 3 turnably pivoted at the upper end part of an operating lever 2, the working tool 3 has a jaw part 31 forming an opening 3a of an inner surface distance corresponding to an opposite side dimension of the head screw part 13 of the connecting pipe 12, is inserted to a ceiling back side through the gap between an inner peripheral surface of an opening part 14a formed on the ceiling 14 and an outer peripheral surface of the sprinkler head 11, and the jaw part 31 of the working tool 3 turned to the operating lever 2 supports by sandwiching two opposed surfaces of the head screw part 13 of the connecting pipe 12.
