PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module which comprises hollow fiber membrane knitted woven fabrics and prevents neighboring hollow fiber membranes one another from entangling and cutting and contacting of darning threads during operation. SOLUTION: The hollow fiber membrane module comprises a plurality of hollow fiber membrane knitted woven fabrics (1) each provided with a hollow fiber membrane (1a) and a darning thread (1b) and arranged in parallel, wherein at least one end parts of the hollow fiber membranes (1a) composing the hollow fiber membrane knitted woven fabrics (1) are opened and the other end parts are fixed in a housing in liquid-proof manner. The darning threads (1b) of the hollow fiber membrane knitted woven fabrics (1) and the darning parts of the hollow fiber membranes (1a) are partially or entirely provided with darning protection resin (1c).
