COATING APPARATUS AND COATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus enhanced in electromagnetic wave shielding capacity and capable of forming the line image of a conductive pattern for mass-producing an electromagnetic shielding material high in light transmittance, and a coating method. SOLUTION: The coating apparatus is equipped with a plurality of discharge heads having a plurality of nozzles for discharging liquid droplets and constituted so as to discharge liquid droplets to a long intermittently fed long support from the discharge heads to apply the line image of the conductive pattern. The coating unit of this coating apparatus is characterized in that a plurality of the discharge heads are arranged in the feed direction of the support and made movable in the width direction and feed direction of the support.
