PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas treatment method and its system eliminating clogging of a high temperature filter caused by a low melting point inorganic compound with a simple method and a system, and suppressing corrosion caused by the low melting point inorganic compound in a treatment apparatus disposed in the downstream side of the high temperature filter. SOLUTION: When collecting dust by a ceramic filter 6, the temperature of exhaust gas of an exhaust gas inlet 3b side of the high temperature filter 3 set to a first given temperature region (500-800°C) causing no melting/vaporization of the low melting point inorganic compound, is raised to a second given temperature region (800-900°C) causing melting/vaporization of the low melting point inorganic compound when regenerating the ceramic filter 6.
