[Class 65 (ii)] A pinless hinge, particularly for an oven door 11, comprises a lug 23 of hook-like form engaging a slot 20 in the frame 10. In the form shown, the end of the lug is made wider than the remainder to prevent its complete removal from the slot, and assembly of the parts is permitted by making the slot as a lateral extension of a deeper aperture in the frame, this deeper portion being closed, after assembly of the parts, by a plate 19 secured to the frame by screws. In a modification, the end of the lug 23 has a downward projection to prevent separation of the parts, and its upper corner has a corresponding notch or cut-away part, extending further along the lug by an amount equal to the thickness of the frame 10, so that when the door is opened to the stop it can be lifted and the stop withdrawn from the slot. |
