The invention relates to a method for producing annual reproduction material for tree nurseries, as young roots for immediate planting - including soil preparation, water and nutrient supply, and plant protection measures - characterised by obtaining an early, flat part of the not yet woody root (11) of 1-2 month old seedlings (9) at a sectional depth (16) of between 5 and 10 cm below the surface (10), both in bed sowing and row sowing. The early root part can be obtained using a device provided with cutting accessories consisting of vertical coulters (5a, 5b) fixed to the spacer (3a, 3b), or stretched, horizontal cutting threads (6) which are detachably fixed to the lower side of the device and consist of wire, twisted steel wire, flexible denticulated metal threads or nylon threads. The seedlings with an early root part can be clearly identified by the significantly better branched roots (14) from between 5 and 10 cm below the surface (16). |
