摘要 A broadcasting method and apparatus for simultaneously receiving a plurality of broadcast service channels in a mobile communication system are provided to process received signals simultaneously by using a single ADC(Analog/Digital Converter). An LNA(Low Noise Amplifier)(401) amplifies mixed input RF signals simultaneously received via one or more antennas and outputs a reception RF signal. A PD(Power Detector) detects power of the amplified RF signal. BPFs(Band Pass Filters)(403,413,423) allow the RF signal to pass therethrough based on different center frequencies. VGAs(Variable Gain Amplifiers)(404,414,424) amplify output signals that have passed through the BPFs by applying different gain values to them. An ADC(406) converts an output signal of a reception circuit unit(400) into a digital signal. Mixers(407,417,427) compensate a synchronous error with respect to output data of the ADC. LPFs(Low Pass Filters)(408,418,428) measure reception strength of signals outputted via each mixer. A BER(Bit Error Rate) estimating unit(410) measures reception performance of signals outputted via each mixer. An AGC(Automatic Gain Controller)(420) controls the reception circuit unit by using the reception strength of each channel and the reception performance.
