An operating method of a display unit interlocking with a DMB receiver and the display unit using the same are provided to judge whether the received channel information and a recording channel are same and to output received channel information from an interface when the received channel information and the recording channel are different for allowing a user to know there is a problem on the display unit with a warning message. A display unit comprises a user interface part(501), a DMB receiving channel judging part(502), and a DMB state alarming part(503). The user interface part receives recording reservation information. The DMB receiving channel judging part judges the received channel information during the start of the recording time. The DMB state alarming part receives the broadcasting signal when the received channel information and the recording channel are same, and outputs the received channel information on the interface when the received channel information and the recording channel are different.
