The machine has a pocket folding mechanism, and blade folding mechanisms (1, 2) consecutively arranged perpendicular to each other in a material flow direction. A changing device (7) is placed between the blade folding mechanisms for changing an arrangement of sheet front and rear edges relative to a sheet conveying direction (A). The changing device has a case with an ejection device (8), which is electrically or pneumatically operatable. Rear and front alignment devices (10.1, 10.2) and a sheet rear edge guide (10.3) are provided for exact alignment of the sheet. An independent claim is also included for a method for folding a sheet of a printing substrate. |
