METHOD AND POTABLE TYPE EQUIPMENT FOR TREATMENT OF WASTED TRANSFORMER POLLUTED BY POLYCHLORINATED BIPHENYLS

A method and a movable equipment for treatment of a waste transformer contaminated by polychlorinated biphenyls are provided to decompose the waste transformer contaminated by polychlorinated biphenyls in an environmentally friendly manner. An equipment for treatment of a waste transformer contaminated by PCBs(polychlorinated biphenyls) comprises: an electric heating furnace which is sealed, and into which a waste transformer member(130) is injected; an electric heater(10) for applying heat to the inside of the electric heating furnace by electric energy; a temperature sensor(70) for sensing an internal temperature of the electric heating furnace; an instantaneous heater(140) for instantaneously heating exhaust gas to decompose odor or PCBs contained in the exhaust gas; a controller(80) for controlling the entire equipment; a sodium vessel(90) and a filter(100) for collecting and treating waste insulation oil or PCBs from gas exhausted through exhaust pipes(105,125,145) from the electric heating furnace; a sodium evaporator(50) for supplying a sodium dispersion vapor into the electric heating furnace; a pressure sensor(60) for sensing an internal pressure of the electric heating furnace; and an electric valve(110) for controlling emission of the gas treated in the electric heating furnace.
