<p>ANT/TERMITE PROOFING METHOD The invention provides a method of ant/termite proofing a structure which includes two adjacent substantially ant/termite impervious sections (1, 2). The method comprises securing respective opposing edge portions (5, 7) of a strip (3) of substantially continuous marine grade aluminium sheet material to the respective adjacent sections (1, 2) such that an integral barrier is formed therebetween. At least one of the opposing edge portions (5, 7) is secured to its respective adjacent section (1, 2) by means of an ant/termite impervious silicon based adhesive.</p> |
