PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording material, which has a high photograph- like gloss, a high ink absorbency and an improved storage stability. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording material, which is produced by providing an ink accepting layer including inorganic particles on a support, the ink accepting layer includes (a) a mesoionic compound (b), a nitrogenized heterocyclic thionic compound and (c) at least one of aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon compounds having a mercapto group. |
