<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a ceramic multilayer substrate without damaging a characteristic of an element that the substrate has and an appearance shape of the substrate by a non-contraction method without need of a process for manufacturing a spacer. <P>SOLUTION: An outer side unnecessary part 13 of a laminated body 12 where contraction suppression layers 11 are disposed on upper and lower face of a non-baked substrate 10 is cut, and a molding laminated body 14 is formed. The molding laminated body 14 is kept between a lower setter 15a and an upper setter 15b, which are formed of porous materials, through the outer side unnecessary part (cut laminated body) 13 as a spacer. The molding laminated body 14 is baked in the state. A gap is formed between the upper setter 15b and the molding laminated body 14 in a baking process. Bar-like setters where main parts are formed of plurality of bar-like members and gaps are formed between the bar-like members are used as the lower setter and the upper setter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
