<p>A PS(Power Saving) method and apparatus in a communication system are provided to control power of a terminal effectively by setting a PS priority level according to a combination of a remaining battery capacity and a QoS(Quality of Service) request degree of a previously received service. A terminal measures the remaining battery capacity(600), and discriminates a QoS request degree of a previously received service class(605). The terminal determines a PS priority level according to a combination of the remaining battery capacity and the QoS request degree(610), and sets a sleep window interval according to the determined PS priority level(615).</p> |
