PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrially advantageous method for manufacturing a gas containing hydrogen as a main component with a self-heat supplying reactor by developing a methanol reforming catalyst with high activity and excellent durability. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the gas containing hydrogen is characterized by carrying out a reaction of methanol with steam and oxygen in the presence of the catalyst containing palladium metal, zinc oxide and chromium oxide and/or gallium oxide as main components and manufacturing the reformed gas containing hydrogen as the main component. |
