PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle capable of certainly inhibiting steering lag with a simple structure. SOLUTION: Lack of output of steering ratio variable actuator occurs and when an input shaft 31 is rotated against an output shaft 32 in resistant to a torsion bar 33, a cam mechanism 37 including a groove cam 40 and a cam follower 41, for example, downwardly drives a slider 36. The slider 36 and power transmission surfaces 42, 45 of an upper side of a friction body 47 are coincident with each other to make friction bonding. Thereby, relative rotation of a sun gear 15 and a carrier 16 is restricted. Force which a driver operates a steering member 2 is mechanically transmitted to a steering mechanism side through a planetary gear mechanism 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
