PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method for a T-die laminator constituted so as to replace a filter for removing foreign matter contained in a thermoplastic resin during the extrusion operation of the thermoplastic resin not only to stabilize spitting caused by the stagnation/thermal deterioration of the resin in the vicinity of the filter to a low level but also to minimize the loss of the resin or the loss of a changeover time at the time of changeover of the resin due to the replacement of the filter. SOLUTION: In the operation method of the T-die laminator, a thermoplastic resin film is formed by extruding the thermoplastic resin at a speed of 150 kg/hr or above from an extruder equipped with a filter for removing the foreign matter contained in the thermoplastic resin to be laminated on the surface of a steel sheet, the occurrence of spitting in the thermoplastic resin film is suppressed by replacing the filter so that the extrusion pressure of the thermoplastic resin does not exceed 150 kg/cm<SP>2</SP>.
