<p>A womb rod for treatment of catarrhal or inflammatory diseases of womb of cattle after birth, is prepared by mixing citric acid (2 g) and boric acid (2 g) using Sieve fractions No 7 (according to Ph.Hg.VII.) and sieved on a Ph.Hg.VII 6 sieve to prepare a powder suspension; melting adeps solidus 50 (hard fat) (6 g) on water-bath and increasing temperature to 55[deg] C; suspending the prepared powder in the melted adeps; and cooling the suspension until its temperature decreases to 42[deg] C, and then pouring into mold, where the diameter of the mold is 17 mm and length is 35 mm.</p> |
