<p>Method for manufacturing a magnetic recording medium A method for manufacturing a magnetic recording medium having a thin protective layer in which damages on the surface of the recording medium due to burnishing are prevented and contamination of the surface due to the said burnishing is avoided. Before burnishing of a surface of a substrate after laminating a protective layer, a lubricating agent is applied that is capable of preventing generation of scratches due to the burnishing. The lubricant is also easy to remove by washing.</p> |
