A system and a method for generating an English e-book are provided to enable a user to make the English e-book by translating contents received from the user into English and enabling the user to arrange a layout of the English e-book, and enable the user to sell the English e-book to buyers by registering the English e-book to an online shopping mall. A Hangul combiner(110) attaches a Hangul explanation to a photo file loaded by a loader(105). An English combiner(115) attaches an English explanation matched with the Hangul explanation to the photo file. A layout database(120) stores layout information to change a layout of a photo and the English explanation according to user selection. A page former(125) forms a page by arranging the photo and the English explanation according to the selected layout. A page database(130) stores information of the generated page. An e-book generator(135) generates the e-book by collecting and combining the pages. An e-book database(140) stores the generated e-books. A shopping mall processor(150) processes purchase information when a buyer buys the e-book at a price set by the user. A shopping mall database(155) stores the e-books stored in the e-book database to a shopping mall of a website and stores price information of the e-books. |
