摘要 A driving circuit for liquid crystal display device and a method for driving the same are provided to minimize the power consumption with no quality deterioration by using various dot inversion method to the LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel according to the inversion establishment signal. A liquid crystal cell is formed in the area of a liquid crystal panel defined by a gate and a data line. An inversion establishment part(95) generates the inversion establishment signal according to setting signal from the user and transmits to multiple option pins(90). A timing control part(80) converts the period of the polarity control signal according to the inversion establishment signal transmitted through multiple option pins. A data driver(40) converts and drives the dot inversion method of the liquid crystal panel according to polarity control signal having converted period. A data processing part transmits the external source data to the data driver. A control signal generator converts the period of the polarity control signal according to the inversion establishment signal.
