A manufacturing apparatus of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to arrange a falling prevention member for preventing the hair root of the rubbing cloth to the front surface of a rubbing roller. A rubbing cloth is wound to a rubbing member(100) so that an alignment groove is formed on an alignment layer formed on a substrate. A falling prevention member(110) prevents the falling of the hair root of the rubbing cloth on the surface of the substrate when driving the rubbing member. The rubbing member includes a rubbing roller(101) with the wound rubbing cloth. A driving motor(104) rotates the rubbing roller. The falling prevention member includes a body portion(111) and a head portion(112). The body member is arranged vertically to the substrate. The head portion is arranged in parallel to the substrate. The head portion is protruded from the body portion to the rubbing roller. |
