A thermally conductive thermoplastic resin composition, and its preparation method are provided to improve mechanical properties, thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity. A thermally conductive thermoplastic resin composition comprises 10-95 wt% of a thermoplastic resin; and 5-90 wt% of a carbon or metal-based electrically conductive filler having a thermal conductivity of 100 W/m.K or more. Preferably the composition comprises further 3-70 wt% of at least one filler selected from the group consisting of ceramic solid, flake and fiber having a thermal conductivity of 300 W/m.K or more; and/or a halogenated or nonhalogenated flame retardant.
