The present invention provides a rolling-element screw device capable of offering advantages of both an end cap type ball screw and a return pipe type ball screw and belonging to an intermediate new category between these ball screws. The rolling-element screw device is provided with a circulation member 13 for scooping up each rolling element 19, which has rolled up to one end of a loaded rolling-element rolling groove 14b of a nut main body 14, and returning the rolling element 19 to the other end of the loaded rolling-element rolling groove 14b. The circulation member 13 consists of two members, that is, a first pipe 11 and a second pipe 12. The first pipe 11 is attached to one axial end surface 14a of the nut main body 14 while the second pipe 12 is attached to an axially opposite end surface of the nut main body 14. |
