A mobile terminal device is provided to display faint gentle light on an opposite surface without installing a frosted glass. A housing(100A) includes a case(310) in which various components are accommodated, and a panel(320) for covering the case. The case 310 includes a hole(311), in which a backlight(151) or a rear liquid crystal panel(152) are disposed. The panel is formed by coloring an acrylic thin plate and has light transmissivity. A light blocking plate is attached to a surface of the panel facing the case. A light diffusion transmission layer coated with white pigment is formed on a facing surface of the panel. Light emitting from the backlight is diffused to the light diffusion transmission layer of the panel after passing through a through hole of the light blocking plate so that softened light is transmitted from the panel.
