A multipurpose parking lot management system is provided to manage both vehicles and bicycles which are parked on various parking lots. A multipurpose parking lot management system includes a parking fare calculator(10) and plural external communication units(28A,28B,28C). Cars, bicycles, or motor cycles are parked on a flap type parking device, a wheel locking device, and a motor cycle locking device, respectively. The flap type parking device, the wheel locking device, and the motor cycle locking device are connected to the external communication units, respectively. The kinds of the vehicles are used to calculate the parking fare and the parking devices for the respective vehicles.
