METHOD FOR CORRECTING CHROMATIC ABERRATION OF MICRO CAMERA MODULE

A method for correcting the chromatic aberration in a small-sized camera module is provided to perform the correction of the chromatic aberration by means of a convolution calculation function embedded into the convention ISP block. Edge profile curves relating to the red image, green image and blue image are calculated(S10). Blurring curves relating to the red image, green image and blue image are calculated(S11). Thereafter, blurring functions relating to red image, green image and blue image are determined(S13). A correction coefficient relating to the red image for correcting the blurring of the red image and a correction coefficient relating to the blue image for correcting the blurring of the blue image are calculated(S21,S31). The correction coefficients of blue and red images are applied to the red image and blue image with a bayer format detected at an image sensor(S22,S32).
