FIELD: heating systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: technique of regulating flow of water and simultaneous lowering of noise during operation of a heat and main water supply point, mainly equipped with an automated metering unit, is based on that, a stream of water is passed through a set of axially symmetrical local resistances whose input and output can be reduced and increased in steps respectively, and through a pipe between them, which has a diameter less than the calculated length. The calculated (required) linear pressure losses are achieved with simultaneous reduction in noise down to standard values.
