摘要 |
An inlet pipe structure of a catalyzed particulate filter is provided to prevent particles from being locally stacked by uniformly distributing exhaust gas over the whole area of a filter. An inlet pipe structure of a catalyzed particulate filter(10) comprises an inlet pipe(12) connected to an exhaust manifold at a front of a container(11) having a diesel oxidation catalyst filter and a diesel particulate filter therein. A cone-type cover(14) is connected to the inlet pipe and an exhaust pipe(13) is installed at a rear portion of the container. A passage(O) is formed at an inner peripheral surface of the inlet pipe. The passage extends along a spiral stream line(S). The passage is defined by guide walls which protrude from the inner peripheral surface of the inlet pipe. A plurality of protrusions are formed in the passage.
