A two axis sliding apparatus of a mobile terminal is provided to minimize the thickness of a terminal by positioning guide portions of three types of stages on the same plane without causing a vertical phase shift difference, and perform stable and precise sliding by using a single elastic member. A platy fixed stage(110) is fixed to a main body and includes X-axis moving guide portions(111) formed in a vertical direction at upper and lower sides. An X-axis moving stage(120) includes X-axis sliding portions(121) formed at upper and lower sides so as to be combined with the X-axis moving guide portions and horizontally moved, Y-axis guide portions(122) formed in a vertical direction at both sides, and a space hole(120a) formed at the central portion thereof. A Y-axis moving stage(130) is fixed to a cover and includes Y-axis sliding portions(131) combined with the Y-axis moving guide portions and moving in a vertical direction within the space hole. An elastic member(140) has one end combined with the fixed state and the other end combined with the Y-axis moving stage, so that when the elastic member is cooperatively slid in the horizontal direction of the X-axis moving stage and in the vertical direction of the Y-axis moving stage, it rotates by 360 degrees within the range of the space hole.
