A zoom lens is provided to improve an aberration property of the zoom lens while decreasing a size of the zoom lens by arranging two groups of lenses in the zoom lens. A zoom lens includes first and second lens groups(100,200). The first lens group includes a negative lens which is arranged at an object side and has a positive focal length. A convex surface of the negative lens is arranged to face the object side. The second lens group includes a positive lens which is arranged at an image side and has a negative focal length. A convex surface of the positive lens is arranged to face the object side. One surface of the positive lens is aspherical. A relation, -4 < f1/Zr <-0.5, is satisfied, where f1 is a focal length of the first lens group and Zr is a ratio between overall focal lengths at wide angle and telephoto edges.
