FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention concerns non-ferrous metallurgy. Particularly it concerns maintenance technique of aluminium electrolyser. Method includes holes forming in places of measurements implementation of process variables and manufacturing operations after completion of treatment and scum solidification on the surface of electrolyte. Between implementation of treatments, measurements of process variables and manufacturing operations removal of electrolyser leakage is implemented by detachable caps. Detachable caps are installed on shaped holes and they are removed before procedure implementation. Foam removing between implementation of treatment is implemented through shaped holes. At hole shaping on electrolyte scum around it is formed collar for mounting of detachable cap. Collar is formed from mixture of alumina with electrolyte or from aluminium. Detachable cap can be implemented from aluminium. After installment of detachable cap it is hermetically sealed and warm by alumina.
