A water pipeline cleaning method in a water distribution system is provided to clean the water pipeline having hard scales, to prevent corrosion of a pipeline, and to obtain stability of the tap water by injecting an acid cleanser, and then ion exchange resin and non-woven fabric. A water pipeline cleaning method comprises as follows. A water pipeline is checked and a state of the pipeline is recorded. The pipeline is cut and removed. A pig launcher and a receiver are installed. A poly pig is installed. The poly pig is cleaned first time. Inner wall scales are soft-nitrided by injecting an acid cleanser. The poly pig is cleaned second time. A corrosion inhibitor and chlorine are injected. Washing water is processed. The corrosion inhibitor is P2O5. The injection concentration of the corrosion inhibitor is lower than 20mg P2O5/L.
