A motive power supply device for an actuator is provided to drive the actuator safely and smoothly by supplying a charged power on a condenser to the actuator at a time. A motive power supply device for an actuator includes a transformer(303), a leakage detection unit(304), a breaking actuator(306), a breaking actuator driving unit(305), an insulated resistance detection unit(307), a power supply unit(309), a recovering actuator(312), a recovering actuator driving unit(311), a control unit(308), and a charged voltage detection unit(315). The transformer is installed on paths of a power side. A start power supply unit charges a power to be supplied to the recovering actuator when the paths are broken. The start power supply unit is an electric dual layer condenser.
