MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICE PROVIDING CANDIDATE TELEPHONE NUMBER AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A mobile communication terminal which offers a telephone number list to make a phone call and a controlling method thereof are provided to offer a telephone number list if a touch inputting action exists through a display window when a telephone number is inputted through a touch screen, thus a user can quickly communicate with a desired party through a telephone number list. A memory(150) stores telephone numbers. A controller(160) displays the first area for inputting a number string which includes at least one number on a touch screen(120) and the second area for displaying the number string, and displays a list including information related to a telephone number which includes the number string on the touch screen, if at least one telephone number stored in the memory is matched with the number string displayed on the second area when a touch inputting action occurs through the second area.
