INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

An internal combustion engine is provided to enhance oil isolation of ventilation gas in a crank housing by allowing water to be introduced to ventilation gas of the crank housing. An internal combustion engine comprises a device for exhausting ventilation gas of a crank housing including a siphon type pipe line(18). A water supply device(22) is disposed at a lower part of a bottom portion(21) of the siphon type pipe line. A valve(24) is disposed at the bottom portion to exhaust oil-water mixture. The siphon type pipe line has a large cross section such that flow rate of ventilation gas of the crank housing is reduced at the lower part of the bottom portion of the siphon type pipe.
