A method for manufacturing an articulation and waist protection band is provided to protect cartilage in joint/articulation regions, to maintain an appropriate body temperature, and to suppress skin troubles. An articulation and waist protection band is manufactured by: preparing a cylindrical shape fabric by using a yarn and spandex yarn; cutting the fabric; folding the fabric in a manner that a spandex yarn exposed face(12) and a yarn exposed face(13) come in contact with each other; and sewing the strands on both edges to prevent them from loosening. Preferably, the articulation protection band has a length of 40-50cm. The yarn used for the preparation of the fabric is made of a mixture of 55wt% of hemp and 45wt% of cotton.
