FIELD: organic chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to technology implying production of industrial carbon in chlorine-methane flame. Method of carbon black production includes methane and chlorine combustion at polar ratio of methane and chlorine within 4.5 to 1.5 at temperature from 600 to 700C. Reagents are placed into reactor without preliminary displacement and pre-heating. Carbon product is purified from chlorine derivatives by hydrogen, nitrogen or inert gas treatment at temperatures within 600 to 1100C. Refined product treatment with carbon dioxide or water vapor at temperature 900C and higher. Invention enables to increase carbon black specific surface to 10003000 m2/g.
