A liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to compensate flicker in a liquid crystal display panel by differently forming sizes of capacitors constituting each pixel in proportional to a change difference of a pixel voltage for every position of the pixel. First to m-th gate lines(103a-103c) are formed on an array substrate, having different sizes. First to m-th capacitor lower electrodes(105a-105c) are formed on the array substrate, separated from the first to m-th gate lines, and having difference sizes. First to n-th data lines(109) are formed on the array substrate, crossing the first to m-th gate lines. Pixel areas are defined at areas formed by the first to m-th gate lines crossing the first to n-th data lines. Thin film transistors are formed at parts where the first to m-th gate lines cross the first to n-th data lines on the array substrate. First to m-th capacitor upper electrodes(113a-113c) are formed on the array substrate and are connected with the thin film transistors to form capacitors having different sizes in coping with the first to m-th capacitor lower electrodes. |
