An optical sheet and a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to prevent a wrinkle phenomenon in the optical sheet by forming patterns at a lower end of the optical sheet which is adjoined with a lamp. An optical sheet is attached to a lamp(20). Tiny wave patterns are formed on a lower portion of the optical sheet, which is adjoined with the lamp. When the optical sheet is expanded due to a heat from the lamp, a marginal space between the wave patterns is decreased, so that wrinkle is not formed on the optical sheet. An LCD panel of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is covered by a top case. A black rim is formed on the optical sheet(130), so that a light leakage is prevented. The LCD panel is placed on the optical sheet.
