SPECTRALLY CONTROLLED DISPLAY BACKLIGHT EMISSIONS FOR NIGHT VISION IMAGING SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY

A spectrally controlled display backlight emission type illumination assembly compatible with a night vision imaging system is provided to use a low-priced material achieving compatibility with a night vision imaging system, reduce power consumption required for an output brightness level, and improve emission brightness performance of the night vision imaging system. An illumination assembly includes an illumination supply source(12); a cavity(20) surrounding an edge and a rear of the illumination supply source; a material(28) applied on the cavity, including a near infrared ray transmitting and visible ray reflecting compound material and a near infrared ray absorbing material; and a near infrared ray reflecting and visible ray transmitting compound filter(16) installed at a direct path of an outlet of the illumination assembly.
