A method for washing laundry of a washer is provided to improve washing effect by supplying a detergent from a detergent supplying unit into a washing tub when supplying water into the washing tub. A method for washing laundry of a washer comprises the steps of: supplying water from a water supplying unit to a detergent supplying unit, and supplying water and a detergent into a washing tub(S1); supplying water to the detergent supplying unit if water level of the washing tub reaches to a first set water level, and consecutively supplying water until water level of the washing tub reaches to a second set water level(S3,S8). |
