A method and a system for presenting video images are provided to promote safety of user by informing the user of possibility of closure of a crosswalk. A video image presenting system includes an image sensor(11), at least one sensor(15), a sensor process unit(16), an image processing unit(13), and a graphic processing unit(17). The image sensor acquires video images from peripheral environments of a vehicle. The sensor detects the peripheral environment of the vehicle or data related to the vehicle. The sensor process unit processes sensor data. The image processing unit post-processes the video image and recognizes objects in the video image. The graphic processing unit changes representations of the recognized objects, which are recognized from the displayed video image, and visualizes the sensor data in the displayed video image. |
