<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed controller and a speed control method of a motor, capable of sufficiently improving a gain of a speed control system even at a low rpm, and having good responsiveness. <P>SOLUTION: In this speed controller of a motor, when a speed command ωref is given from a higher order controller (not shown), a speed control circuit 1 calculates a speed deviation with a speed signal ωfb, generates voltage commands (Vuref, Vvref and Vwref) for correcting this speed deviation and inputs the voltage commands into a PWM control circuit 2. The PWM control circuit 2 converts the voltage commands into PWM-converted base drive signals BD1-BD6. A speed detecting circuit 3 estimates a motor U-phase EMF voltage command Vuemf and a motor V-phase EMF voltage signal Vvemf from the base drive signal, a U-phase current signal Iufb and a V-phase current signal Iufv, and generates a speed signal ωfb on the basis of the estimated signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
